Electrical Workers Credit Union was started in 1955 by a group of members of IBEW Local 58. We are proud to say that our name has not changed, we have not merged with another financial institution, and we plan on being around for a long time.
Our Board of Directors consists of members of IBEW 58 along with their spouses.
Our employees have many years of Credit Union experience and are helpful, understanding, and knowledgeable with any of your questions or concerns.

At Electrical Workers Credit Union, it's business as usual, even in this unusual environment. We've always believed in conservative, careful business practices. After all, we know that it isn't just our money that's at stake, it's yours. As always, your deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Association (NCUA). We continue to grow, and as our member, you can rest assure that you'll continue to enjoy high levels of service that you've always received from us.
Bring in anyone you know who does not belong to a Credit Union, the red carpet is out and a warm welcome awaits any *immediate family member of yours who is eligible for membership.

The membership application is available by mail, give us a call at 313-963-6060.
*Immediate family members include your spouse, children, brothers, sisters and parents.
Don't forget, the Credit Union belongs to its members and whatever you can do to give it a boost will benefit you!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
